i have an old farmall , international tractor seat and mounting box, it has a shock absorber and a good seat spring. not sure what it came off of, maybe a 450 or 560, something from the late 1950s or early 1960s? it will fit many makes and models of farm tractors. i wire brushed it, then put a coat of rust converter on it, and painted it. as you can see the seat pan is rusted, but still sturdy....
